Karuna-aspire was set up by Sue Wayne who is a qualified nurse, working in both hospital and community settings.

Sue WaynePrior to establishing Karuna-aspire Sue worked for The Stroke Association for 17 years and so has seen at first-hand the difficulties people face and overcome following a stroke.

She has a passionate interest in food –cooking and eating, as well as health, fitness and well-being and personally understands the mental and physical problems that those weighty issues can cause.

Sue enjoys working with, listening and enabling people to make good/positive choices and decisions to optimise the quality of their lives  in the best possible way.

Qualifications held: RGN, DMS, SAC DIP (clinical weight management), DIP.Hyp (ETUK), MCTHA, Diploma in coaching, which includes NLP and counselling.

Royal College of Nursing (RCN) – Member
The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) – Affiliated member

All sessions are by appointment only and to make life simple you can come to her or if appropriate you can work together via Skype.

Sue also runs half day motivational workshops based on emotional eating, weight loss and dieting.

Everything discussed during a session remains in strict confidence.

Initial consultation, 50 mins at £65* – Includes getting to know each other and any of the following if appropriate – mind mapping, relaxation,  hypnotherapy, outcome plans and goal setting.

Subsequent sessions, 50 mins at £55*

*Charges maybe less for some fears and phobias so call Sue to discuss

The number of sessions required can vary from person to person, so if it is agreed that more than three sessions are necessary I am happy to discuss terms.
